Tape movement can be confirmed in hours, minutes and seconds with the 5
digit display. Changing of the display and counter clearing are operated by the
remote
control.
Counter Display
Press the OPERATE button to
turn on the VCR. (The mode
indicator is displayed and the
channel indication appears after a
few seconds.)
Press the DISPLAY button on the
r e m o t e c o n t r o l . ( T h e m o d e
indicator is displayed.)
Press the DISPLAY button again.
(The tape counter is displayed.)
Press the DISPLAY button again.
(The present time is displayed.)
Press the DISPLAY button again
to return to the channel display.
NOTE:
If the operation mode is changed while the channel indication, counter or
present time is displayed, the new operation mode is indicated on the display
for a few seconds.

Minus (-) appears if the tape is being played backwards from "O:OO.OO".

Playing the tape forwards
During timer recording or Simple Recording Timer, the display shows the
record finish time. When the DISPLAY button is pressed, the display changes
in the following way.

During Simple Recording, the timer position number and "PROG" are not

displayed, and " Ei3 " lights instead of "TIMER".

Zero-Back Function
The zero-back feature makes the cassette fast forward (or rewind) to the
reviously set "O:OO.OO" point and stop there.
