Using the Configuration Menu

DWL-7700AP User's Manual

Advanced > Encryption > Open System

Wireless Band:

Select IEEE802.11a or IEEE802.11g. IEEE802.11a is selected here.

Authentication:

Select Open System to communicate the key across the network.

Encryption:

Select Enabled or Disabled. When Enabled is selected, as it is here,

please fill in the following fields.

Key Type:

Select HEX (Hexadecimal digits consist or the numbers 0-9 and the

letters A-F) , or ASCII (American Standard Code for Information

Interchange) is a code for representing English letters as numbers

from 0-127.
