Power off your computer

Do not shut down using the suspend or hibernation mode.

Connect the external display to your computer

NOTE

For more detailed information, refer to the operation manual of the

external display.

Turn on the external display, then turn on your computer

You can select either an external display, LCD or simultaneous with Fn

+ F3 .

In addition, you can set the display to use during start-up with the follow-

ing procedure.

NOTE

When an external display not compatible with the power saving mode

is used with the computer, the external display may no longer display

properly when the computer enters the ECO mode. In such cases,

turn off the power to the external display.
