The 480i supports up to three parties in a conference call.
Establish the Conference

Action
Connect to the first party to include in
the conference.
Press the Conf hard key.
•
Dial the number of the party to add
to the conference.
Or
•
Press the Dial softkey and dial the
number.
Wait for the new party to answer.
You can consult with the new party
first before adding them to the
conference.

•
The first party is placed on hold
and the line lamp flashes slowly.
•
A new line goes off-hook and you
hear dial tone.
•
The Dial softkey displays.
•
The original party is still on hold
and the lamp is flashing.
•
The second line lamp is steady,
indicating the new party is not yet
been added to the conference.
