Printer Programming Considerations
The previous pages have given you all of the
information necessary to operate your printer. The
following section provides advanced information that
will allow you to fully use all of the functions and
features of your printer.
DIP Switch Settings explains how you can change the
way the printer is automatically set up when you turn
your printer's power on.
Printer Control Codes Quick Reference is a listing of
control-code descriptions in alphabetic order.
It
will
help you quickly find the control code you need for a
particular job.
Printer Control Codes describes the special codes used
to change printing characteristics, such as margins, tabs,
printing color, etc.
Printing in Color explains the use of printer control
codes to print in all 8 available colors.
Character Set 1 and Character Set 2 tables are
representations of the characters and control codes
available in each character set. The character sets
differ in the characters that are printed. Notice that
Character Set 2 contains many non-English characters
and symbols. "ESC 6" and "ESC 7" are used to
change from one character set to another. The
descriptions of "ESC 6" and "ESC 7" are found in
"Printer Control Codes."
All Printable Characters table is a representation of all
characters that can be printed.
